An Aspect of the ‘Verstndigung’ in Small Group Conversation of SpeakingListening Classes

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to embody transactional conversation between learners in Speaking․Listening teaching situation. ‘Verständi- gung’ means the process of mediating decisions that is made between interdependence relationships. There are some maxim, considered situat ion and relationship above logicality and rationality in ‘Verständigung’. In this study, the category of transactional communication in the process of ‘Verständigung’ are classified ‘Expansion, Response, Emphasize, Irrelevant act’. As a result of this analysis, types of ‘Verständigung’ in small group conversation of student, ‘pattern of follow’, ‘pattern of extinction’, ‘pattern of alteration’ are established. The learner of Speaking․Listening Class should have experience that mediate decision each other in transactional conversation. And take part in ‘Verständigung’ positively. More and more small group conversation of Speaking․Listening Classes are analyzed in many quarters.
