Abstract
This thesis intended to lay foundation on the learner-centered syllabus design in Korean History Education. The criteria searching for educational contents is the learner's capacity through Korean history education. I demonstrated three direction of syllabus design. Firstly, learners should have the organic perspective about language which has a close connection between the past and the present. Secondly, learners should freely interpret the linguistic fact in history. In doing so, they can understand the depth culture in Korean Language which is the structure of knowledge. Throughout these procedures, Korean history education will contribute to the learner's voluntariness. Among other things, it will add much to the understanding of the culture in Korean Language. Thus, Korean history education is really valuable in Korean Education
