The Issues of the Nonsense Poetry in Korean Education

Abstract
This paper was intended to elucidate the meaning and position of nonsense poetry in literary education and Korean education, which had not been a main issue all the while. Firstly, I tried to show new vision for subjects of the verbal thought and meaning in Korean education by defining the realization and pursuing process of nonsense poetry for meaning as 'fantasy'. It is impossible to explain the language of nonsense poetry, because it produces the a sense of meaning in the field of fantasy instead of explaining its meaning by real referent. And we are not able to understand a series of processes which provide meaning to nonsense poetry with the convergent thought which has been fundamental aspect of verbal thought. Therefore it is necessary to take a concrete form of verbal thought which involves Korean education by including the field of fantasy, and the signifying process of nonsense poetry which is a thought phenomenon should be explained by this concept. The value of nonsense poetry which needs fantasy as a text condition could be positioned in the literary education level. Regarding the education of litrerary production, the function of fantasy which is revealed in nonsense poetry can play a language producing role for reaching the nature of object that exceeds the personal and linguistic limitation. And it could be concluded that nonsense poetry provides much degree of freedom to the readers in the education of literary reception, expands the range of experience, and contributes to maximize the activity of the readers in poetry reading.
