Abstract
This study researches the achievement standards of “Have a Attention to Korean Language in the Unification Era” by dividing into 4 sections. The first section, “the reason why we must attend to Korean language in the unification era” discuss the range of “the Korean language issue of the unification era” and emphasizes the key role of Korean language in achieving social integration of two Koreas. The next section of “current language differences between South and North Korea” suggests that the differences in language be described in the current status and dealing with them require three perspectives, such as typical, balanced and communicative perspectives. “The difficulties in unification that may occur from language differences” investigates difficulties due to various reasons, including “the differences in communication of South and North Korea,” “the problem of conflict between South and North Korean,” and “settlement of the Korean language representing the unification era.” The final section, “the solutions to overcome the language differences between two Koreas” emphasizes ‘overcoming solutions at the national level’ and ‘overcoming solutions at the school level’
