Abstract
This study examines the poetry education through the learning activity of the Korean text book and arguments the right course of the poetry education from the viewpoint of the poetry reception-production. The poetry education was made fragmental, analytic through the unreflected thought. It was emphasized that the poetry writing was very difficulty and the creation education was abnormal. The autonomy of the appreciation and the creation education recently are value highly. But the poetry reading activity is still deficient. This study propose that we emphasize process of poetry reading in learning activity and classify the poetry education
