Abstract
An Essay on the Ideal Educational Human-Being sought after in Grammar EducationSin, Myeong-seonThis essay is the investigation about the ideal educational human-being sought after in grammar education. Up to the present, there is not a study on the ideal educational human-being in grammar education. Therefore I had to infer the ideal educational human-being in grammar education based on the key arguments about grammar education. This essay investigates and criticizes the ideal educational human-being sought after in grammar education.I drew key points through analysis about langage domain of CSAT(College of Scholastic Ability test) and a language curriculum. That's three;The dispute about the necessity of grammar education, the tendency to emphasize an systematic knowledge and thinking faculty, the stress on usefulness. If we form conclusions from key points, the ideal educational human- being sought after in grammar education is ‘an intellectual’ and ‘a pragmatist’. I recognized the value of ‘an intellectual’ and ‘a pragmatist’. But I gave weight to formate ‘an linguistic subject’.
