The Classification of Korean Vocabulary Educative Contents

Abstract

This study deals with the classification of Korean vocabulary educative contents. In this Study, ‘Korean vocabulary educative contents’ is limited as s school subject. First, I examinated the vocabulary education contents in school curriculum. As a result of the examination, I proposed the idea for the logic and resonable system of the vocabulary education contents. Especially, We have to reflect the character of vocabulary in developing vocabulary education contents, for instance the close relation of vocabulary and communication, culture, cognition, and emotion. The next, I deals with a viewpoint about ‘the language, Korean ability as an aim of Korean education, vocabulary ability as an aim of vocabulary education, the character of vocabulary’. Through these argument, I presented my viewpoint about the classification of vocabulary educative contents. The last, I presented the classification of vocabulary educative contents in four. First, the educative contents about vocabulary knowledge, the educative contents about vocabulary skill, the educative contents about the attitude about vocabulary. Second, the educative contents about correct/ relevant/ adequate/ original vocabulary use. Third, the cognitive vocabulary educative contents and the emotive vocabulary educative contents. The fourth, educative contents about vocabulary, educative contents about vocabulary activity, educative contents about vocabulary learning method.
