Abstract

The Summary of this research is as follows:First, two-way communication became easy, due to the distribution of new media today. This also has made a new social context for writing. Therefore, we should teach how to use appropriate vocabulary in the new-made text types. Second, writers have to set the conscious level of face-to-face situation and two-way communication and next, should learn the expression strategy of choosing vocabulary etc., according to the conscious level. Third, the characteristics of vocabulary should be described in detail in the ‘writing field’ of Korean language curriculum. The text types which utilize the new media, should also be stated more detailedly and the statements have to appropriate to their development stages. New social context and expression strategy need to be stated. Finally, in many cases, it is necessary to practice an integrated method in teaching vocabulary. In doing this, it is better to connect many fields as far as possible.
