Abstract
There are some meaningful similarity between Chinese co-verb and Korean postposition. The two device make ADVP out of NP by attaching itself to pre- or post- position. Because they was not case assigner nor case marker, they would not word nor affix. We can conclude they have two attribute. The attribute have some theoretical problem. It means we must have a certain dubious category. Although Korean and Chinese have developed typically different language, there are many negotiations historically with word bargain. Many Chinese co-verb has developed from verb to affix-like. Some Korean postposition as like it. In Middle age translation examples could show the events. Now we can see a little example. But the deeper and systemic understanding of the two device(coverb and postposition), The similarity can make a meaningful and useful solution of the each language grammar studies.
