Analyzing ‘Korean Language Education Policies for Returnee Students’

Abstract

This study is purposed for analyzing Korean language education polices for returnee students based on neo-instituitional theory. First, it is diachronically examined education polices and their detailed contents for returnee students, then drawn the structure of education polices for returnee students. Second, it is explored specific contexts of education polices for returnee students as follows: toward relief of education differential, toward multi-cultural education, toward adjustment-oriented education with a little developmental trend. For Korean language education polices for returnee students, first of all, it would be clearly examined the point which could Korean language education contribute for it. It is because that Korean language capacity of returnee students should be systematically surveyed and studied.
