A Survey of Possibility in Grammar Education through Lesson of Hearings’ Style

Abstract
This paper is about lesson of hearings’ style through which students will have interest and concern for grammar and will build and fully grammatical knowledge. This lesson is designed to preparing stage, execution phase, reflection stage. In preparing stage, classes are divided into two team. Offensive teams were to create questions for the explanation of the teacher in the classroom. But defensive team is expected to make an advance questions and expect answers in theirs home individually. Execution stage is subdivided again into five steps. First, teacher explains to the students the content directly. Second, offensive teams are making questions. Third step is operational time which defensive team ties questions into categories. Fourth, defensive team answers questions. Finally, the teacher gives to the supplementary explanation. Reflection step is to explore the educational significance about lesson of hearings’ style. At the results are these. Students themselves were exploring the grammar knowledge, and were recognized for their knowledge of grammar, were voluntarily participate in class. Also class atmosphere is changed dynamically. The limitation of this class are as follows. First, Q & A has sometimes lost direction and Q & A’ depth is lacking. Second, materials or data are sometimes lack situational context. Finally, sometimes students can not understand the grammar knowledge exactly. So re-check activities are required.
