Abstract

A Study on the Speech-act Performance Ability in Early ChildhoodKim, Jung-sun & Chang, Kyung-heeThe aim of this study is to show a ability of speech-act performance Korean children of 12~35 months. For this purpose, we researched the frequency of speech-acts. The results of this study can be summarized as follows. 1) In 12~17 months, the private speech appeared in high frquency and from the on 18~23 months, it was decreased. And the demanding speech-act and the responding speech-act were appeared almost similarly in 30~35 months. 2) This study was examined the frequency of speech-act type in demanding utterances. The results were arranged the order of frequency as follows. In 12~17 months, calls, statements. In 18~23 months, statements, directions. In 24~29, Statements were appeared remarkably plentiful. In 30~35 months, statements, questions, directions. 3) The major speech-act was examined responding utterance in each age. In the all range, learning-imitations and answers were appeared, but the forward were decreased in 30~35 months.
