This paper treated macrorules that might be adopted in summarizing. Two hypotheses were established, applied in subjects, and education meaning deducted. First, universal utilization of deletion rule in macrorules application was proved characteristically. Some excellent subjects applied generalization rule with considerable frequency. And they increased strong deletion as the number of summarizing. Second, Macrorules would be applied to the difference of between groups but turned out to be some differences depending on genres of text. This paper highlighted typicality of macrorules through the summarizing of some subjects. And it provided a clue of how to summarize in korean education. However it was left limits in the choice of subject and text during the course of investigation.
