Abstract

In this study, we analyze instructional coaching conversation. Chapter 2 deals with the concepts and procedures of instructional coaching and how we apply this model as a framework for analyzing conversations. In Chapter 3, we present methods of dialogue analysis. Chapter 4 analyzes the qualitative characteristics of Korean instructional coaching dialogue. Based on these discussions, the results are as follows: active two-way communication between coach and teacher; the execution of various types of instructional sharing; effective emotional listening by the instructional coach; and self-exposure of the teacher.
