Abstract
The purpose of this study is to develop criteria for evaluation of the reader response text to information text. Delphi was conducted by 11 Korean language education experts to prepare criteria for evaluating the response text. The two evaluation areas of thinking are a) configuration and b) expression. Each area’s evaluation elements include the following: a) ‘setting the relationship with text’, ‘understanding the textual content’, ‘critical-creative thinking’, and ‘reflective response’, b) ‘consistency and adequacy of composition’, and ‘adequacy of expression’. It also validated the compliance with the assessment criteria by correlating with the best case of reader response text.
