Firstly, In this paper maked a comparison criteria for selection andachievement standards between the two nations. The characteristics ofcriteria for selection of Korean Classic Literature texts suggests representativenature, variety and efficiency. The characteristics of criteria forselection of Chinese suggests historic nature and practical nature. Theachievement standards in Korean Literature Curriculum stressed systemicityand knowledge.
