‘손글씨 설명문’과 ‘워드 설명문’ 평가 과정에서 나타나는 국어교사 눈동자 움직임의 차이

초록

이 연구에서는 손글씨 설명문과 워드 설명문을 평가할 때 보이는 국어교사 눈동자 움직임의 차이를 추적하여 분석하였다. 이를 위해 국어교사 13명을 평가자로 선정하고 손글씨 설명문을 평가하는 집단과 워드 설명문을 평가 집단으로 배정하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 손글씨 설명문을 평가한 국어교사들은 워드 설명문을 평가한 국어교사들보다 방문빈도, 재고정시간, 총 고정시간이 더 긴 것으로 분석되었다. 약 34.6%가 더 길었다. 둘째, 학생 글 영역 분석에서 손글씨 설명문을 평가한 국어교사들이 보인 방문빈도나 고정시간은 워드 설명문을 평가한 국어교사들보다 더 많거나 길었다. 다만 첫 주시시간은 워드 설명문을 평가한 집단이 더 길었다. 셋째, AOI 수준 I 하위영역별 변인의 점유율 분석에서 학생 글 영역이 매우 높은 점유율을 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 통해서 학생 글이 쓰기평가 자료의 핵심이라는 것을 알 수 있다. 넷째, 손글씨 설명문을 평가한 국어교사들은 AOI 수준 II의 내용 영역에서 더 많은 방문빈도, 더 긴 주시시간과 더 긴 총 고정시간을 보였다. 내용 영역은 모든 변인에서 분포 비율이 가장 높은 것으로 분석되었다. 연구 결과, 손글씨로 작성된 글을 평가하는 것은 워드프로세서로 작성된 글을 평가하는 것보다 국어교사의 인지적 부담이 더 크다는 것을 알 수 있었다.
