디지털 리터러시의 정의적 영역 평가 도구 개발 방향에 대한 탐색적 연구

초록

디지털 기반 의사소통이 확산됨에 따라 디지털 리터러시의 중요성이 강조되고 있으며, 이와 관련한 연구 성과도 축적되고 있다. 그러나 기존 연구들은 디지털 리터러시의 인지적 측면에 주목했을 뿐, 정의적 측면에 대해서는 간과해 왔다. 이에 연구자들은 디지털 리터러시 정의적 영역의 특성을 구체화하고, 디지털 리터러시의 정의적 영역과 관련된 기존의 평가 도구를 검토하고자 하였다. 20여 개의 기존 평가 도구를 검토한 결과, 현재 우리나라 실정에 맞는 실제적인 평가 도구가 부재하다는 것, 디지털 리터러시의 정의적 영역을 규정하는 개념에 적합하도록 정의적 영역 전반을 다루면서도 이를 용이하게 측정할 수 있는 평가 도구 개발이 필요하다는 것을 확인하였다. 또한 디지털 리터러시는 학생들이 처한 리터러시 환경과 밀접하게 관련되어 있으므로, 이에 영향을 미치는 배경변인들에 대한 고려가 필요하며, 디지털 리터러시의 정의적 영역 평가 도구는 병리적 현상의 진단과 처방에서 벗어나 이를 보편적인 시각에서 바라보고 평가하여 그 결과로 학생들의 상태를 설명해 줄 수 있어야만 할 것이다.
