주제 밀접성이 쓰기 수행에 미치는 영향 연구

초록

본 연구의 목적은 주제 밀접성이 각기 다른 글의 특성을 분석하여 이를 바탕으로 주제 밀접성이 쓰기 수행에 미치는 영향력을 검증하는 것이다. 이를 위해 고등학교 2학년 학생 50명에게 30개의 주제에 대해 밀접한 정도를 표시하도록 했다. 그 후, 주제 밀접성이 다른 세 편의 글을 작성하도록 한 뒤 글의 특징을 분석하였다. 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 주제 밀접성에 따라 내용과 조직 점수는 유의한 차이를 보였으나, 표현 점수는 차이가 없었다. 둘째, 쓰기 수행 수준을 기준으로 집단을 나누어 분석한 결과, 상 집단에서는 내용, 조직, 표현 모두 주제 밀접성에 따른 점수 차이가 없었고, 중 집단과 하 집단에서만 내용과 조직에 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 셋째, 내용·조직과 관련되는 글 특징을 추출하였는데 네 가지 특징(다양하고 풍부한 내용, 주장과 근거의 긴밀성, 예상 반론에 대한 재반박, 문장이나 문단의 응결성)에서 모두 주제 밀접성에 따른 차이를 보였다.
