사회문화주의 패러다임의 읽기 성취도 평가 설계를 위한 제언 — 2026 NAEP 읽기 평가 체계의 분석 및 함의

이 연구는 사회문화주의 패러다임의 관점에서 읽기 성취도 평가의 설계원리를 탐색하고, 이를 바탕으로 한국의 대단위 읽기 평가 체계 개발에 주는시사점을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 먼저 교육측정 및 학습과학 분야의 선행연구를 검토하여 사회문화적 구성주의에 기반한 타당도 개념을 정리하였다. 다음으로, 2026 NAEP의 읽기 체계를 분석하여 해당 체계가최신의 읽기 이론과 사회적 요구를 어떻게 반영하고 있는지를 개발 및 설계의 측면에서 고찰하였다. 분석 결과, (1) 사회문화주의적 관점을 반영한 읽기구인 모형, (2) 학문 맥락별 읽기 목적과 텍스트 선정, (3) 시나리오 기반의과제 설계, (4) 학습자 다양성을 고려한 보편적 디자인 요소, (5) 사회문화적맥락 변인을 반영한 결과 보고 체계라는 특징을 보였다. 이상의 내용을 바탕으로 현대 한국의 맥락에서 사회문화주의적 읽기 평가를 설계하기 위한 방향을 위해 몇 가지 논점을 제안했다. 본 연구는 읽기 평가를 사회문화적 실천의 한 형태로 재개념화함으로써, 향후 읽기 리터러시 교육 및 평가 정책설계에 이론적·실천적 근거를 제공한다.
