The study aims to suggest the ways to improve vocabulary education. Vocabulary education should be accomplished by the selection of educational vocabulary based on the research on the development of the amount of vocabulary of learners and courses which reflects the selection. For the development of vocabulary education the education as institutional education should target of the increasement of vocabulary ability, revise curriculums, edit textbooks based on them, and let teachers get education related with vocabulary education. And study vocabulary education as expression and comprehension education, compilation of the dictionaries for vocabulary education, the education with them, the education of KFLE(Korean as a Foreign Language Education), study on North Korean educational vocabulary to make understand Korean as unified Korean Language are required. As the amount of vocabulary research, selecting educational vocabulary, development of internet-site for Korean vocabulary education. is practicable with national support and research, the national support for the development of vocabulary education is needed.
