Abstract
This paper explored teaching and learning methods for cultivating students' awareness on writing ethics. Until now writing instruction was focused on improving writing abilities of student writers, so writing ethics had been ignored. But the importance of writing ethics arose a social issue and a educational occasion. The teaching and learning methods for cultivating students' awareness on writing ethics in conclusion are two categories, directed method and indirected method. The former included using value-seeking method for writing ethics, using dilemma of writing ethics, and making rules of writing ethics, the latter contained using reflective writing, using students self-evaluation method, and using mirror effects and symbols.
