A Case Study on Performance of Written and Spoken Language －focused on the ‘sentence’ and ‘pause’－

Abstract
This paper investigates a performance aspect of the spoken language and written language with comparison ‘sentence’ and ‘long term pause’. To do this, the two hypotheses are constructed and they are verified with regularly statistic procedure. The first hypothesis is rejected that ‘long term pause’ will be accorded with between speaker and listeners. Namely on-line speaking is come out differently by listeners. The reasons are because of an insufficient exercise of speaker, a lack cognition of ‘long term pause’, and a deficient base of educational theory. The second hypothesis is admitted that ‘sentence’ and ‘long term pause’ will be related. It is significant in that spoken language and written language are related by certain semantic units. And to conclude, this paper is meaningful what written language and spoken language are treated in the view of connection and integration. But there are limits in that lack of a scientifical study and restriction of subjects are.
