쓰기 태도 및 쓰기 효능감 발달 연구-6학년에서 10학년 학생들을 대상으로-

초록
이 연구는 6학년에서 10학년 학생들을 대상으로 쓰기 태도 및 쓰기 효능감 발달 양상을 탐색하는 데에 목적이 있다. 이에 따라 천안 지역 소재 초, 중, 고교 세 곳 173명의 학생들로부터 자료를 수집하여 분석하였다. 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 6학년에서 10학년 학생들의 쓰기 태도는 학년별로 뚜렷한 발달 경향을 찾을 수 없었으며, 학년에 상관없이 긍정적이지 않은 쓰기 태도를 유지하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 성별에 따른 쓰기 태도는 모든 학년에서 여학생들이 남학생들보다 긍정적인 쓰기 태도를 지니는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 쓰기 효능감은 6학년에서 9학년까지 부적 발달의 경향을 보였으며 10학년에서 다소 회복되는 양상을 보였으나, 통계적으로 유의한 학년별 차이는 보이지 않았다. 넷째, 성별에 따른 쓰기 효능감은 남학생의 평균 점수가 다소 높았으나 통계적으로 유의한 차이는 없었다. 학생들의 긍정적인 쓰기 태도를 형성하고 쓰기 효능감을 신장시키기 위해서는 학생들에게 의미 있는 쓰기 경험과 성공 경험을 제공해야 하고, 학생들의 삶의 맥락 속에서 쓰기 수행이 이루어져야 하며, 쓰기가 가치 있고 중요한 활동이라는 것을 인식시키는 것이 필요하다.
