청소년 독자의 인터넷 독서 전략에 관한 문헌 연구

초록
이 글은 구성적-반응적 독서 모형에 근거하여 수행된 청소년 독자들의 인터넷 독서 전략에 관한 문헌 연구 결과를 보고하였다. 분석한 많은 연구들이 청소년들이 인터넷 상황에서 사용한 핵심 전략을 설명하는 데 기여하였다. 이 전략들은 (1) 잠재적 텍스트의 실현과 구축, (2) 주요 글 내용의 확인과 학습, (3) 독서 과정에 대한 점검, 그리고 (4) 텍스트의 평가로 범주화될 수 있었다. 청소년 독자들은 대체로 인터넷상에서 사실적인 정보를 검색하고, 문면적으로 글 내용을 이해하는 데에는 능숙하였다. 그러나 복잡한 하이퍼텍스트 공간 안에서 유용한 정보를 찾아 분석하고, 정보의 질을 평가하면서, 이를 깊이 있게 학습하는 비판적 전략을 사용하는 데에는 부족함을 보였다. 이 글은 청소년들의 비판적 독서 전략, 초인지적 독서 전략의 신장을 위한 독서 교육이 요구됨을 강조하고, 한국의 인터넷 환경에서 한국의 청소년 독자들이 어떻게 글을 찾아 읽고 공부하는지, 그 과정과 전략에 관한 심화된 그리고 지속적인 연구가 필요함을 제안한다. 이 분야의 연구 결과는 21세기 독자를 생각하는 효과적인 교육과정과 수업을 설계하는 밑거름이 될 것이다.
