특정 정보 검색을 위한 초등학생의 인터넷 읽기 전략 탐색

초록

본 연구의 목적은 초등학생이 특정 정보를 찾기 위해 사용하는 인터넷 읽기 전략을 탐색하는 것이었다. 고려대학교 독서 토론 수업에 등록한 고학년 학생 15명이 연구에 참여하였다. 자료는 설문조사, 탐색 기록, 참여자의 자극 회상을 통해 수집하였다. 연구자들은 과정을 세 단계로 구분하였다: 초기 검색 단계, 검색 결과 읽기 단계, 사이트 내 읽기 단계. 또한 세 단계 전반에 걸쳐 관찰되는 평가 단계를 설정하였다. 30개 이상의 전략이 확인되었으며 일부 전략은 여러 단계에 걸쳐 사용되었다. 연구 결과는 다음을 시사한다. 1) 저학년 독자도 이러한 전략과 실제 상황에서의 적용 방법을 학습해야 한다. 2) 인쇄 매체 읽기와 인터넷 읽기 훈련의 균형 잡힌 접근이 필요하다. 3) 인터넷 환경과 관련된 전략은 독자가 정보에 접근할 때 도움이 될 것이다. 4) 학생의 기술적 측면에 대한 친숙도에 추가적 관심이 필요하다.
