한국형 독서 성숙도 검사 도구 개발 및 타당화 연구

초록

본 연구의 목적은 한국의 사회·문화적 상황에 맞은 독서 성숙도 검사 도구를 개발하고 이를 타당화 하는 것이다. 이를 위해 Thomas(2001)의 Reading Maturity Survey를 번역 후 역번역하여 언어 문화적 차이를 최소하고, 문항의 타당성에 대한 전문가 검토 및 인지적 인터뷰를 실시한 후 수정·보완하였다. 이후 한국 대학생을 대상으로 수집한 자료에 대해 최대우도법을 이용한 탐색적 요인분석을 실시하여, 한국형 독서 성숙도 도구는 6요인 구조를 가지고 있음을 확인하였다. 한편 확인적 요인분석을 실시한 결과, 모형적합도도 우수한 것으로 나타났다. 한국형 독서 성숙도 검사 도구는 ‘기초 독해력’(8문항), ‘독서를 통한 성찰과 삶의 변화’(8문항), ‘독서에 대한 관심과 태도’(4문항), ‘고급 독해력’(5문항), ‘인간과 삶을 이해하기 위한 독서’(3문항), ‘지식 습득과 확장을 위한 독서’(4문항) 6요인 32문항으로 구성되며, 32문항의 전체 신뢰도는 Cronbach’s α .950으로 나타났다. 모형적합도 지수 중 RMSEA 값은 .50이며, 그 외 CFI, TLI, NFI, GFI 값도 .90이상으로 기준치를 충족하여, 모형은 측정변수 간의 관계를 효과적으로 설명하고 있었다. 또한 집중타당성과 판별타당성도 확보한 것으로 검증되었다.
