고등학생의 읽기 성취목표지향성 경향 및 영향 연구 — 설문 반응 및 읽기 성취를 중심으로

초록

그간 성취목표지향성에 대한 많은 연구가 수행되어 오고 있지만, 국어교과 혹은 읽기 특정적 과목에 대한 목표지향성과 그 성취와의 관계를 살펴보는 연구를 찾아보기는 어렵다. 이에 본 연구는 고등학생을 대상으로 읽기과제에 대한 성취목표지향성을 조사하고 이를 독서 과목 성취와 관련지어분석하고자 하였다. 연구 결과, 전반적으로 학생들이 수행목표보다는 숙달목표를 보다 지향하고 있고, 목표지향성 유형에 관계 없이 모두 남학생들보다 여학생들의 평균 점수가 높다는 점이 드러났다. 회귀분석의 결과는 읽기에 대한 숙달-접근 지향성과 수행-접근 지향성이 읽기 성취에 유의미하게 영향을 미친다는점을 보여주었다. 이원분산분석 결과는 숙달 및 수행 목표 모두에 대해 높은지향성을 보이는 학생 집단의 읽기 성취가 가장 높음을 보여주었다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 주목할 만한 시사점들, 그리고 향후 국어교육을 위한 제언들을 논의 및 제시하였다.
