The Study on Instructional Communication in Literature Lessons

Abstract

A teacher is one who delivers educational contents and designs lessons. Particularly in literary lessons, a teacher should pay attention to communication between him/her and learners. The teacher can cultivate the ability to appreciate literary texts by communication with learners. Therefore, instructional communication should be polyphonic. On the premise that polyphony is important in instructional communication, the next three are the points when teachers engage in instructional communication； (1) drawing various voices, (2) answering to other voices, (3) empowering students to be a main agent of literary activity. When teachers teach learners in a classroom setting, they look after next three； (1) introducing contexts selectively, (2) reflecting and empathizing with others experiences(sharing experiences and reflecting them for implementing answerability, (3) structurally questioning on learners and encouraging them to respond.
