대학생의 보고서에 대한 동료 반응과 그 수용 양상

초록

이 연구의 목적은 대학생 필자들이 동료의 보고서에 어떤 반응을 보이고, 또한 자신의 보고서에 대해 동료들이 보이는 반응을 어떻게 수용하고 있는지 그 양상을 탐색하는 데에 있다. 이를 위해, 이 연구에서는 대학생 78명의 보고서를 1차 자료로 삼았다. 학생들은 자신의 보고서에 대한 동료의 반응을 읽고, 그에 대한 수용 여부를 판단하여 기술하였다. 학생들의 동료 반응은 주제의 적절성, 주장과 근거의 타당성, 구조의 체계성, 표현의 명료성, 독자에 대한 고려 등의 범주로 분석되었다. 대학생들은 동료 필자들의 보고서에 대해 다양한 양상으로 반응하였으나, 주로 주장과 근거의 타당성, 구조의 체계성에 주목하는 것으로 나타났다. 이후 이러한 반응을 실제 학생들이 어떻게 받아들이고 있는지 그 양상을 분석한 결과, 학생들은 동료의 반응을 대체로 수용하였으나 때로는 판단을 유보하거나 거부하기도 하는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 결과는 동료 반응에서 지적하였던 내용이 항상 글에 반영되는 것이 아님을 보여주는 것이다. 이 연구에서는 글 자체에 대한 동료 반응에 초점을 맞추었으나, 이뿐만 아니라 다양한 상호작용을 포괄하는 동료 반응에 대한 후속 연구를 통해 이 분야의 연구에 대한 풍성한 논의가 이루어지기를 기대한다.
