다문서 문식 활동의 과정과 결과 사이의 구조적 영향 관계

본 연구는 과제 모델(계획 및 수정), 문서 모델(상호텍스트 모델 및 통합 정신 모델), 반론 고려를 예측 변인으로, 에세이의 텍스트 질을 종속 변인으로 포함하는 가설 모형을 종합적이고 실증적으로 검증하였다. 한국 고등학생 421명으로부터 다중 문서를 활용한 논증적 에세이를 작성하고 처리 변인을 측정하는 일련의 설문지에 응답하는 방식으로 자료를 수집하였다. 구조방정식 모형을 적용하여 자료를 분석하였다. 결과에 따르면 문서 모델이 참여자의 텍스트 질을 예측하였으며, 과제 모델의 효과는 문서 모델과 반론 고려를 매개로 나타났다. 주목할 점은 계획과 수정이 텍스트 질에 영향을 미치는 경로가 다르다는 것이다. 또한 상호텍스트 모델과 반론 고려는 정신 모델과 달리 텍스트 질에 직접적인 영향을 미치지 않았다. 이러한 결과는 다중 문서 처리에 관한 연구에 기여할 뿐만 아니라, 국어교육과 교과 영역 모두에 적용 가능한 학제간 접근의 실증적 근거를 제공한다.
